Terms of Service
Using Passport Photo Studio means you accept these terms. They are short.
What the service is
A free tool that crops and resizes a photo you supply to match a published photo specification, and flags characteristics that commonly cause rejections. It is a sizing and checking tool, not an application service and not a guarantee of anything.
No guarantee of acceptance
We do not promise that a photo produced here will be accepted by any authority. Specifications change, authorities apply discretion, and many requirements - expression, glasses, head coverings, uniforms, background, how recent the photo is - depend on the photo you supply rather than on anything we do. The published specifications we work from are reproduced in good faith from official sources, cited on each size page, but you are responsible for confirming the current requirements for your document. Checking against the official source before you print is worth the two minutes.
Your photo, your responsibility
You must have the right to use any photo you open in the editor, and you must not use the service to produce photos for fraudulent or unlawful purposes, including misrepresenting your identity. Because processing happens entirely on your device, we neither see nor control what you put in - which makes this your responsibility rather than one we can enforce.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its output will meet any particular requirement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service - including rejected applications, delayed or missed travel, or reprinting costs. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Donations
Donations are voluntary, non-refundable, and buy no additional features, support, or priority. Every feature is available to everyone.
